Seven G FW general tips

Seven G FW general tips

Here are a few tips while updating the FW on the Murideo 8k Seven G:

  1. Only have what you need plugged in while loading firmware.  So Power/USB/Lan Connection.
  2. While firmware is loading, avoid pressing any buttons or disconnecting anything.
  3. DO NOT POWER THE UNIT DOWN AT ANY POINT DURING THE UPDATE, except when the PDF Update Guide says so.

If something were to happen you simply need to try loading that file that failed again. Say for instance it freezes, do not power cycle just click that same button again. Going back to older firmware if needed should be the same process, just different files (so no hoops to jump through to revert).
