Seven G Protocol Analyzer Software Tutorial

The SEVEN Protocol Analyzer allows you to analyze the HDMI IN/OUT activity over a specified time period. You can analyze 5V, CEC, HPD, eARC, SDA (Data), SCL (Clock). You can parse specific data types, view and navigate in “wave view” or “list view” and delve into details of I2C and eARC transactions. Analysis takes place down to the microsecond

General Use:

Wave View:
Wave View allows you to visualize the HDMI activity in a visual and interactive way. This greatly helps you search for irregularities and save time over searching a long list. The Wave view and List Views are interactive – when you are viewing an event on the Wave View, it will be highlighted in the List View.

List View:
Chronological log of all HDMI Transactions. The Wave view and List Vies are interactive – when you are viewing an event on the Wave View, it will be highlighted in the List View. If you highlight an item in List View, you can view it on Wave View. In List View, you may “Save” the data as a text (.txt) file

eARC IN:
Chronological log of eARC IN (Rx) Transactions (HDMI Source/Out). In eARC view, you may “Save” the data as a text (.txt) file

eARC OUT:
Chronological log of eARC OUT (Tx) Transactions (HDMI Sink/In). In eARC view, you may “Save” the data as a text (.txt) file

I2C IN:
